Daniel Tosh Take Tosh.0 on 2013 Comedy Tour

Daniel Tosh, host of Comedy Central’s “Tosh.0,” will head out on a month-long comedy tour later this year.

“The June Gloom Tour” begins May 30 at Abravanel Hall in Salt Lake City, and the trek will continue through a June 30 date at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts in West Palm Beach, Fla. Other cities on the itinerary include Cheyenne, Denver, Detroit, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Orlando and Miami.

Jarrod Carmichael will open all dates.

Tosh has been the host of “Tosh.0” since it premiered in June 2009. There are 30 episodes slated to air throughout 2013. The first of these aired last night, February 5, and the show comes on Tuesday nights at 10 p.m on Comedy Central.

In other Comedy Central news, the network will premiere two new shows later this month on the same night. “The Ben Show with Ben Hoffman” and “Nathan for You” will air on Thursday, February 28.

You can probably guess the name of the star of “The Ben Show,” and a press release says the series “is a sketch show/man-on-the-street hybrid starring comedian Ben Hoffman.” They added that last part just in case you didn’t get it the first couple times.

“Between sketches, we follow Ben on a journey, such as forming a band, going on a blind date, buying a firearm or returning to his hometown in Kentucky,” the release continues. “Ben seeks advice and guidance from strangers as well as people he knows, including his dad, ex-girlfriends and therapist, who also help him introduce the sketches.”

“Nathan For You” is described as a “docu-reality comedy,” and stars Nathan Fielder from another Comedy Central show, “Jon Benjamin Has a Van.” Nathan “uses his business degree and life experiences to help struggling companies with strategies that no traditional business consultant would dare attempt… but because of his unorthodox approach, Nathan’s sincere efforts to do good often draw real people into an experience far beyond what they signed up for.”
